Europe! ^_^

I'm going to Europe in a few hours! :D It's an orchestra tour, but my whole family's going (my parents are chaperones and my brothers are also in the orchestra), so it's also like a family trip/summer vacation. We're first going to Barcelona, Spain. We're going to other places in Spain, then we're going to France! We get to visit Paris, Nice, and lots of other places. I'm pretty excited! I'm just worried about how bored I'm going to be on the plane, and my roommates I'm rooming with in the hotels. The two girls have been like, long-time friends since I-don't-know-when, so they're probably going to do everything with each other, so I'll probably be really bored with nobody to talk to.

Anyway, I'll post pictures and talk about it when I come back! :)

Finger Monkeys!!! sooo cute XD

One of my friends just sent me an email about finger monkeys, and they are the cutest creatures EVER!!!! :D I mean, just look at them!



Anyways, a little background info. about finger monkeys...
-Finger monkeys are actually "pygmy marmosets." (??? have no idea what that is)
-Finger monkeys belong to the family Callitrichidae, species Cebuella and genus C. pygmaea. (have no idea what that is either...)
-They are native to rain forests of Brazil, Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, and Columbia.
-They look really cute, but can actually get violent if not treated well (this kind of applies for all monkeys in my opinion :P).

Karaoke @ Grad Dance

Grad Dance

Yesterday night, after the graduation, I went to the dance/party the school provided for all 8th graders. It was fun; there were lots of games, like the game shown on the picture below (I don't

know the name of it), karaoke, and a dance floor with disco lights and music. They also provided food like pizza, CANDY!!!, samosas :O, spring rolls :O, popcorn, soda, water (duh), and ICE CREAM!!!!!!!!!!! :) It was a really fun way to socialize with friends for the last time before summer. And BTW, the theme was "Hollywood" so the decorations were as if we were in Hollywood (like the "no papparazzi" tape instead of caution tape, the Alvin and the Chipmunks statue, etc.)

I've graduated from middle school! :)

I graduated from Miller Middle School! My graduation just finished about an hour ago; I'm going to Lynbrook High School next year.

I sat in the front row, so I couldn't sit like a man (like I normally do). :P I had to sit up straight with my legs together (which I'm normally supposed to do anyway) like a lady...bleh. :P It was so uncomfortable! And my dress was really uncomfortable too, because it was too low so I kept on having to pull it up. But it was fun graduating with my friends anyway! :)

Hey guess what?! I'm graduating (from middle school) tomorrow! I'm actually not as excited as I sound, but I just like using exclamation marks. :P

Great America

On Thursday, I went to Great America as a school "reward day" instead of going to school! :) It was really fun, except I didn't really get to go on the big rides because the lines were really long and we didn't have enough time. And two people I went with are scared of roller coasters. :P

But for some of the small rides we went on (except for the water stuff), I took a video while sitting on it! Unfortunately, I don't think I can add the videos because the file size is too big. :(

I also noticed something of the Merry Go Round. In the back of the seat/on top of the horses' butts, there's a face of some kind of animal or something, so from the back, it looks like the person is sitting on top of the animal (how pleasant!).

Hey, I'm actually writing this at school right now! :D I'm in 5th period Social Studies, and I just finished my online quiz so I can do whatever I want. :) I got a 20/20 on my Social Studies (the Reconstruction) quiz! :D

Today's my last academic day of the year pretty much...today, my Language Arts "Fantasy Resume" (the last assignment) was due, and now I finished my last Social Studies quiz. I finished my math final 2 weeks ago, and my french project was also due today. AND the band CMEA festival was a while ago. AND I finished my science presentation yesterday. So basically, I don't have any more school work until August!!!! :D

Oh, and Great America's tomorrow. It's going to be sooooo awesome! :)))))
