I got this email from a friend just right now titled "Morning Motivation," and it is actually something really good to think about in the morning! I found the room analogy really cool too (the thing with the fan, window, roof, CARPET, etc.). Enjoy. ;)

When I woke up this morning lying in bed,
I was asking myself,What are some of the secrets of success in life?
I found the answer right there,
in my very room.

AND NOT TO FORGET,
THE CARPET SAID...
KNEEL DOWN AND PRAY.
Carry a heart that never hates.
Carry a smile that never fades.
Carry a tongue that never hurts.
HAVE A PURPOSEFUL DAY
IN THE LORD!

Jeremiah 29:11 "for I know the plans I have for YOU, declares the LORD…’
"Never give the devil a ride, he will want to take over the driving."
Be still for a while and praise God for His favor, His grace and His
Awesomeness. God is able to do the impossible and is always near.
He loves us unconditionally.

Yay, it's time for a Bible verse again! :D
Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.
James 1:12
The man who perseveres under trial is someone who turns down all the bad things people (or society) offers him, and instead follow God's will. For example, maybe a really good friend who believes in another faith is testing the faith of someone who believes Christianity. Although the person may be a friend, "the man who perseveres under trial" will stay standing on his Christian faith. This topic also goes back to a Bible story many people probably know...
There were three Jews, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, who truly believed and trusted the Lord. During that time, King Nebuchadnezzar ruled over the place where we now call Iraq. One day, King Nebuchadnezzar built a statue and forced everyone to bow down and worship it; if they refuse to do so, they will get thrown into the fire pit. Everyone obeyed the kings orders...except for those three men. They stood firm on their ground and refused to bow down to the statue even if they will get thrown into the pit. However, they knew God will protect them from harm, so they weren't afraid. The king was furious, so he threw them into the fire pit at once! But seconds after they were thrown inside, three...no, four men were seen walking inside the pit. The fourth man was Jesus, protecting the men from harm. The three men walked back out, without any burns, scratches, or wounds. The king was amazed; ever since, he believed in God with all his heart.
So "the [men] who [persevered] under trial" really "[received] the crown of life!" JUNE 6, 2011
Today's Monday again - the time of the week to post a Bible verse!! :D
So here's the verse:
What a man desires is unfailing love.
Proverbs 19:22
My reflection:
Everyone wants to be loved; love is such an important thing in this world! Imagine what a world would be like with no love, no happiness, no understanding...it wouldn't be much of a place at all because everyone would probably be running around killing each other.... But don't worry; we're lucky to live in such a good world full of loving people! So everyone wants to be loved, including you, right? Well, remember the saying, "Treat others as you would want to be treated?" So if we want to be loved, we should treat others with love as well. And that just goes around in a cycle: if you love someone, they will feel loved and will love someone else including you, who will feel even more loved and will love more people, etc. See, love makes the world go round! :)
