At school, a Log Cake contest was held yesterday/Friday. French students or members of the French Club were encouraged to participate in the competition by baking a cake. Then, each French class got to vote on the prettiest, most realistic, most creative, and ugliest cake. The best tasting was up to the French Honor Society students to decide. :P
During lunch, anyone who came to the room got two slices of cake to taste (including non-French students)! After I ate my share, I felt embarrassed because the others' tasted so good! :P Mine didn't have much whipped cream in the middle so it was kind of dry. I only got to use half the portion of whipped cream because I had to share it w/ my brother's cake.
But if you want to try this and actually use all the cream for one cake, it'll taste pretty good! It's not the traditional kind though because the cake itself is chocolate rather than yellow. Just go on allrecipes.com and search up "Yule Log Cake" and you'll find a whole bunch of recipes! :)
