Bible Verse of the Day

This is something new I'm going to try out. So every day, I'm going to post a Bible verse, and that will be yours, and my, Bible verse for the day! I hope I'll remember to do this every day though...if not, just make it the Bible Verse of the Week, of the month, of the year...I hope it doesn't get that far though. :P

Genesis 1:1- In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.

So if God is the creator of the universe and our world, then he is also the one that gave us everything we have today. So shouldn't we thank Him for that? :)

FAQ's:
Q: If God created everything, then didn't God also create evil?
A: No, God gave humans (Adam and Eve) a choice to do what they wanted. He doesn't force us to do good; if He did, our love for Him wouldn't be really be from the bottom of our hearts. So with choice, us, as humans, chose to do evil.

Q: If God created everything, then who created God in the first place?
A: God was never created, and will never die away. In His world, there is no beginning and no end. But for humans, our minds are too confined into a world of time and space, so it is too much for our little brains to comprehend. :P

If you're further interested in this topic, you should try reading the book, the Case for Faith. The author, Lee Strobel, tells of his journey through his investigation about Christianity. It's really interesting! :D
