Glasses

I just got glasses yesterday. The good side is that I can see clearer and won't have to miss homework assignments from not being able to see the board; bad because I'll have to wear glasses. I don't have to wear them all day though; my eyes aren't too bad.

Haha, this is a kind-of-funny story, at least for me. So at the store, I picked out these really thin rims that were like, a light metallic purple, but you couldn't really see the color since the rims were thin anyway. I was about to get those, but at the last minute, my dad was like, "Hey, how about those ones!" and pointed to these plastic, black, thick-rimmed ones. I was like (in my head), "Umm, okaaayyy...those are just plain weird" but he seemed to like those ones way better. I tried them on and I told him the ones he picked were more comfortable but the ones I like look better. And he was like, "Well, you should always go for comfort!" but I know he just thought the ones he picked looked better. So I did get the ones he picked. Yesterday, when I picked up the glasses from the shop and showed it to my mom, she was like, "WHAT?!? Those look so old fashioned!" So I blamed it on my dad (haha I'm so mean) and she got kind of upset at my dad. But actually, I like the ones he picked; they're a lot more comfortable. The glasses lady said it's because they're plastic, so they don't feel as hard when people wear them.
