Help me decide!!! :P

Barely anyone ever reads my blog, but I just felt like asking for your opinion anyway.

I want to get bangs/a haircut in general and highlights, but...

• I don't know whether or not I should get straight bangs, side bangs, or none if that's best for me.
• Whether or not I should get highlights - Will people like random strangers on the street think I'm the crazy, doesn't-care-much-about-school kind of teenager if they see me with really bright highlights?
• What color highlights should I get? I originally wanted blond highlights, but it might be too crazy looking. So maybe a shade of brown?
