ECYS Benefit Concert

I go to a youth orchestra called ECYS (El Camino Youth Symphony). Our annual benefit concert is coming up soon, and we're featuring a very prestigious and special person who's soloing for us the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto. He's the concertmaster from the Philadelphia Orchestra, David Kim. So you guys should come to watch; it's going to be exciting!

Here are the songs we're playing (in no particular order):
Stravinsky, the Firebird Suite
Berlioz, the Roman Carnival
Tchaikovsky, Violin Concerto

It is on (Saturday) March 26, 7:30 pm at the Flint Center.

For those who want to go, if you want to order tickets, contact me so I can order them for you. However, since this is a benefit concert, the tickets won't be free like they usually are. Adults/general admission will be $35, and student and/or senior admission will be $25. I know it's kind of expensive (people can do lots and buy lots of other stuff with this amount of money) but it's a great experience to see if you're interested in joining a band or orchestra, to watch such a highly honored violinist (David Kim) and to support the ECYS people (members and staff) for the hard work we put in to get these pieces together. I hope you guys are interested!

Just a reminder: If you want tickets, email me (janekirstenlee@yahoo.com) and I'll get some to you! :D

THANKS!
